Thanks
Where Thanks Is Due
|

And the sign
said,
"Everybody Welcome To Come In, Kneel Down, and Pray"
But when they passed around the plate at the end of it all,
I didn't have a penny to pay.
So
I got me a pen and a paper,
and I made up my own little sign, it said:
|
| |
|
|
|
|
Thank
You, Lord,
For
Thinking About Me
I'm
Alive And Doing Fine!
|

Sometimes
I get caught up in the hassles of daily life, and forget what really
matters. When things start getting me down, I'll sometimes do a reality
check. When you look at the big picture, the small stuff doesn't matter.
I've actually got it pretty good, thanks to God.
It's at those times and others that
I try to say a quick prayer. It's not my writing, but the words ring
true...
"Thank you, Lord, for thinking about
me. I'm alive and doing fine." |
