Walter Cronkite, renowned CBS anchorman, and Benazir Bhutto, former prime minister of Pakistan, headlined this year's INSIGHTS, held October 3 at the San Diego Convention Center. This premier leadership symposium is produced annually by the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce.

Other speakers at INSIGHTS '98 included: Robert B. Reich, former secretary of labor under President Clinton and commentator for PBS and National Public Radio Gen. John M. Shalikashvili, immediate past chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the first foreign-born soldier to become the nation's top military officer George Stephanopoulos, former senior advisor to President Clinton, who will debate William J. Bennett, former secretary of education under President Reagan Judy Woodruff, prime anchor and senior correspondent for CNN, who interviewed Walter Cronkite and served as INSIGHTS host/moderator.
